    A must-have resource for all couples!, December 30, 2009
This review is from: Breaking the Argument Cycle: How To Stop Fighting Without Therapy (Paperback)
Research shows repeatedly that a harmonious relationship is crucial to raising happy, healthy, caring kids. However, anyone who has been in a long term relationship knows that arguments and conflicts do happen and if they are not resolved and dealt with productively they all too often lead to anger, hurt and ultimately divorce. Author and therapist Sharon Rivkin provides the crucial resource all parents need to unlock the secrets in the ongoing cycle of arguing that can destroy your family. Arguments can be healthy and are a normal part of a relationship, however we often get into a cycle of arguing about the same thing over and over again. Rivkin provides cutting edge tools that will help you break open the cycle permanently and actually heal and resolve conflicts. The result is a stronger, happier and healthier relationship and in the long run, much happier children who will in turn bring these valuable tools into their own lives when they grow up. I highly recommend that her book, Breaking the Argument Cycle: How to Stop Fighting Without Therapy be on every parent’s nightstand and that you incorporate her strategies starting today. You will be amazed at how these strategies can truly change lives.

It’s a nice read, I haven’t finished it but I do like the way she uses personal examples to bring her points across.

Very inspiring! I also have my share of heartbreak experience before, and I’m sure everyone who have been there too will agree that it’s never easy picking up the pieces after a heartbreak. This book is indeed very helpful for those who are still at a lost about the reason’s why their relationship didn’t last and how to survive a broken heart, even to those who’ve mended their broken heart and now ready to get back in the race. Very-well written. Each of the factors clearlyexplained.

I like it that the author also included a few cute charts which make it even easier to comprehend, particularly those that are in the Bonus Chapter. This book provides a better understanding not just on how to deal and overcome heartbreak, but also the probable reasons why a relationship can even end up sour, as discussed in Chapter 3, which can help those who feel that their relationship getting rocky can use to patch things up to prevent heartbreak.

    Definitely worth the read!

After experiencing a painful breakup, you never, ever want to be in a relationship again. A broken heart and pained soul wants to give up on love altogether. The journey to love is a journey to one’s self, your highest, most sacred and loving self. There are plenty of obstacles keeping us from loving again. Sad to say, I’ve experienced them all. So I grabbed this book to escape from the heartaches I just suffered from. Great tips and advice, commendable.
